§ 130.120. Immoral or Improper Conduct.

  • If an elected official is convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude, the office shall immediately become vacant. Elected officials should refrain from engaging in conduct which is improper and from using the position of an elected official to obtain a favor or advantage not available to the public at large.
