§ 710.030. Use of Privies, Septic Tanks, Etc. — Connection To Public Sewer.

  • A. 
    Except as provided in this Chapter, it shall be unlawful to construct or maintain any privy, privy vault, septic tank, cesspool or other facility intended or used for the disposal of sewage.
    B. 
    The owner of any house, building or property used for human employment, recreation or habitation, or other purposes situated within the City in which there is now located or may in the future be located a public sanitary or combined sewer of the City is hereby required, at his/her expense, to install suitable toilet facilities therein and to connect such facilities directly with the proper public sewer, in accordance with the provisions of this Article, within ninety (90) days after the date of official notice to do so long as public sewer service is reasonably available.
