§ 145.010. Equipment Usage Policy.

It is hereby declared to be the policy of the City of Owensville, Missouri, that under no circumstances shall City owned equipment be leased, rented or provided to private persons, entities or firms for the use on any private work project. The Board of Aldermen reserve the right to rent, lease or otherwise grant other Federal, State or local governmental agencies the right to use City owned equipment for work on public improvements or facilities subject to the following requirements:

Any requests for use of City owned or controlled property must be submitted to the Board of Aldermen in writing by an authorized agent of the requesting governmental entity.

2. 

The request submitted must set forth in detail a description of the project, what the requested equipment shall be used for and how long the equipment will be needed.

3. 

The Board of Aldermen reserve the right on a case-by-case basis to determine what charges, if any, will be assessed for the use of the requested equipment.
